Itinerary

Day 1Journey to Aguas Calientes

The adventure begins early with Machu Picchu Holiday Tours. We’ll pick you up early from Cusco. First, we drive through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. The views of the Andes Mountain transform into jungle before your eyes.

Around midday, we’ll reach Santa Teresa, a town famous for the hot springs. Lunch will be here, before continuing to the Hydroelectric Station, the last stop for the bus.

You will walk for the next 3 hours to arrive at Aguas Calientes to rest for the day. We, as your tour operator, will manage all accommodations.

Day 2Machu Picchu Exploration

We’ll leave early for Machu Picchu. The bus from Aguas Caliente to the citadel will be waiting for you. You will arrive at the citadel where you will have a guided tour. After that you will have some free time in the sanctuary.

After that the descent by bus. You will start the hike back to Hydroelectric Station. From there you will be picked up by the bus to return to Cusco by night.
